Var olan bir şeye isim veririz ve o isim, açıklamadan önce var olur. Anlam sonradan oluşur.

Bir isim ait olduğu şeyi tarif etmez, ona benzer.
Ama bazen en güçlü anlam, bir şeyin sadece kendine benzemesidir.

Yana Usima da böyle doğdu.

Bir isme benzer, ama bir anlamı yoktur.
Çünkü anlam verilmez, oluşur.

Tasarımcısından çıktı ama ona ait kalmadı; kendi varlığını kurdu.

Tıpkı bir şeyin yaratıcısına benzemesi, ama yine de yalnızca kendisi olması gibi.

Mücevher de böyledir.

Değiştirmez, yaklaşır. Bir hâli, bir duyguyu taşır.
Takan kişiyle dönüşür, ona benzer.

Bu yüzden her parça başka birinde başka görünür; anlamı o anda oluşur.

Çünkü dikkat çekici olan farklı olmak değil,
kendiliğine sahip olmaktır.

Yana Usima’ya göre bir şey en çok kendine benzediğinde gerçektir. Mücevher ise bu gerçeği görünür kılar.

 

ESSENCE

We name something that already exists,
and that name exists before any explanation.
Meaning comes after.

A name does not define what it belongs to;
it resembles it.
And sometimes, the strongest meaning
is simply being true to itself.

This is how Yana Usima was born.

It feels like a name, yet it holds no fixed meaning. Because meaning is not given — it is formed.

It came from its creator, but did not remain theirs; it built a presence of its own.

Like something that resembles its origin,
yet exists only as itself.

Jewelry is the same.

It does not transform, it approaches.
It carries a state, a feeling.
It shifts with the wearer, becomes them.

That is why each piece looks different on everyone; its meaning exists in the moment.

Because what stands out is not being different,
but belonging fully to oneself.
